And The Rudder Is Back On

We had quite a productive day today, Suzanne has been staining the rubbing strake while I set to and reduced the new rudder bushed to the correct size (frequently using Suzanne leaning on a drill as a lathe). It's taken all day and at least a dozen fittings and removals of the rudder but we finally have it as it should be, it's no longer last years tight fitting, arm ache after 30 minutes on the helm stiffness but a pleasant, free moving rudder as Westerly intended.
